Climate Change News
This past week, The Heartland Institute sponsored the 2009 International Conference on Climate Change in New York City. American Thinker has a good article on this event. It is titled "The Clear and Cohesive Message of the International Conference on Climate Change" by Marc Sheppard. It is clear from information from genuine scientists that panic over global warming is needless and that allowing governments to wreak economic havoc on their countries in the name of global warming is a huge mistake.
There is another article on global warming/climate change at Pajamas Media called "Skeptics Score at Climate Change Conference" by James Lewis. Mr. Lewis talks about the conference, but also discusses some other goings-on in the world of global warming.
As always, I do advocate responsible stewardship over the earth, but that is not what the global warming panic is about. It is about power and money, not about reality.
Updated to add: Another piece at American Thinker is of interest. It's called "More Global Warming Pills to Swallow..." by Gregory Young. This is a blog post discussing some of the fraudulant statements to come out of the United Nations, and why they are fraudulant.
Another source of global warming/climate change news is found at National Review Online in a blog called "Planet Gore".
